CELPIP Speaking Task 1 - Giving Advice Outline & Key point

1) Outline

- The guide will ask for advice from a friend (acquaintance) in a situation that can be common in the daily life environment (moving, health, work)

- You can check the remaining time in real time on the computer monitor

2) Key point

- Scoring is done in a similar way to Writing.

* Logic / clarity / depth(Coherence / Meaning)
* Vocabulary usage (Lexical Range)
* Audience (Listenability. Comprehensibility)
* Task Completeness (Task Fulfilment)

Considering the four factors of them

- Speak directly in a non-indirect way.

* I will advise my friend that she should tell people she knows about her situation. ( x )
* Mary, You had better let people you know about your situation. ( o )

- Think about two or more specific and impactful suggestions during the preparation time and reason/reason for each advice.

Each advice should be expressed in a possible organized form using a number or other expression:

eg) The first thing you could do is ...
The second thing to consider is ...

- Residual time appears on the monitor, but it may be difficult to tell time by eye. It is recommended that test takers who do not reach this level of boredom practice the preparation time and recording time
