2) Listening Part 2 Outline

 In CELPIP Listening Part 2, you will hear a recorded conversation that simulates a real-life situation. You will listen to a conversation between two or more people discussing various topics related to everyday life. The conversation can involve friends, family members, colleagues, or acquaintances discussing a wide range of topics such as personal experiences, plans, opinions, or preferences. The purpose of this part is to evaluate your ability to understand and interpret conversational English in common, informal settings.

Here's an example to help you understand:

Conversation: You will listen to a conversation between two friends discussing their upcoming vacation plans.

Topics: The conversation may cover aspects such as destination choices, modes of transportation, accommodations, activities, budgets, or any other relevant aspects of planning a vacation.

Questions: Based on the conversation, you will be asked to answer questions related to the topics discussed. The questions may require you to identify specific information, infer meaning, understand opinions or preferences, or make connections between ideas expressed in the conversation.

For example:
