1. Practice listening to natural conversations


 Listen to a variety of authentic conversations, podcasts, or recordings in informal settings to expose yourself to different accents, speaking styles, and topics.


2. Pay attention to conversational cues


 Focus on the speakers' tone, intonation, and expressions to understand the emotions and attitudes conveyed in the conversation. This will help you grasp the underlying meaning and context.


3. Take notes


 While listening to the conversation, jot down keywords, important details, or connections between ideas. This will aid your memory when answering the questions.


4. Manage your time effectively


 Read the questions before listening to the conversation to understand what information you need to extract. Use the given time wisely to answer all the questions.


5. Use context clues


 If you come across unfamiliar vocabulary or expressions, try to infer their meaning based on the context of the conversation.

 To succeed in this Part, it's important to develop strong listening skills and familiarize yourself with informal conversational English. (2) Key Points


- Most of the problems are related to the understanding of the flow of contents, and the question based on "5W / 1H"


- Be aware of the whole story by paying attention to the 6th (5W / 1H) principle when listening. That is to say, you should not be tied to each word to break the conversation flow.


- Under-intermediate examinees are most important to understand the trunk of the conversation.


- If a high score applicant is able to memorize while listening, it is also good to make a quick note of the proper noun, date, time etc.


- It is advantageous for examinees who have a lot of opportunities to speak English in everyday life.
