1. Analyze the diagram


Carefully examine the diagram and understand its components, labels, and overall structure. Identify any arrows, symbols, or other visual cues that indicate the flow or movement of elements within the diagram.


2. Read the text passage


Read the accompanying text passage thoroughly. Pay attention to the details and explanations provided, and understand how they relate to the diagram. Look for keywords, phrases, or specific information that can help you interpret and apply the information to the diagram.


3. Make connections


Compare the information in the text passage with the elements in the diagram. Identify how the concepts or processes described in the text align with the different components or stages depicted in the diagram.


4. Focus on sequence and relationships


Understand the sequence of events or the relationship between different elements in the diagram. Pay attention to the cause-and-effect relationships, inputs and outputs, or any other connections that are illustrated.


5. Interpret labels and symbols


Pay attention to labels, symbols, or legends used in the diagram. Understand their meanings and how they represent different elements or actions within the diagram.


6. Apply the information


Use the information from the text passage to interpret and apply it to the diagram. Follow the instructions provided in the questions and use your understanding of the text and diagram to answer accurately.

- Diagrams/charts look only at the overall features, go straight into problem-solving, match facts, and understand the overall content.


- At this time, the diagram chart should be made aware of the configuration logic and the location of the items (the detailed facts are solved by solving problems)


- Clues for answers are presented in sentences immediately before and after the question
